Family

My parents are Heather and Andy, who celebrated their 22nd year aniversary back in September. They are both very important parts of my life. This especially applies to my mom, who is a school counselor and probably my biggest supporter. They both have tried their hardest to provide for my sister and I, and I personally think they have done a great job.

I have one sister, Blair, whose name I helped pick after an early obsession with Barbie. She is currently president of her class and a setter on her volleyball team. I would say we get along pretty well, although our parents may disagree.

My grandmas, aunts, uncles, and cousins have also always played a large part in my life. Several of my cousins have been so close to me that we are often mistaken for siblings, despite us not looking all that similarly. My grandmas have helped to take care of me since I was little, even one of them allowing me to get off the school bus at her house until my mom started trusting me to stay alone.

Friends

I have been friends with Taylor and Anna since around 7th grade, even though we have known each other since Kindergarten or even sooner. Then, there's Erin, Taylor's older sister and the other member of our friend group. The amount of laughter and inside jokes that have taken place between us four is crazy. Accidents seem to follow us wherever we go, which makes for a very interesting time, but I still wouldn't trade them for the world.

Another good friend of mine is a boy I meet at summer camp several years ago named Matthew. He is homeschooled and about the same age as us, although he likes bragging about him having his license before me due to my birthday being later in the year.

All of these friends and many more have changed me for the better, and I know that our friendship will last for many years, even if we don't end up all living in Leopold.

My future still largely remains a mystery to me. However, I know my future definitely holds a college path and a life with a family of my own. Whether I decide to pursue the career I'm currently interested in or not, I know that I will try my hardest to do well at it. My main goals are to keep true to my faith as a Catholic, to stay in close contact with my friends and family, and to continue making new friends. I also want to travel and try many new things, like ziplining and sky-diving. For now, I'm focused on graduating high school with a respectable foundation for any future I may become interested. Like the previous quote said, I am an advocate for whole brain thinking. I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes, besides the one at the top of this page.
